Role description

Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer to join a dynamic team within the healthcare sector. This role involves working closely with customers and business analysts to develop high-quality technical solutions that align with both business and IT strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis, design, and application development. Responsibilities:

   • Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that meets business requirements and is delivered within budget.

   • Engage in the full systems lifecycle, contributing to the development of new code and the reuse of existing code.

   • Develop N-Tier applications using service-oriented architecture (SOA), ensuring compliance with HIPAA through the use of OOP practices and advanced multithreading in C#.

   • Create robust REST API services and Service Endpoints for AJAX templates to consume JSON/XML, enhancing system interactivity and functionality.

   • Utilize SQL Server database to write complex queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and perform performance tuning and SQL profiling.

   • Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and make recommendations on 'buy vs. build' decisions.

   • Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and propose technical solutions that adhere to organizational standards.

   • Document code and participate in the review of code developed by other analysts to ensure adherence to project development methodology.

Qualifications:

   • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

   • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in .Net development with SQL, including extensive knowledge of Agile process development.

   • Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, ASP .Net MVC, REST Services, jQuery, Knockout.JS, Razor Views, Bootstrap, and SQL Server.

   • Experience in designing and developing REST API services and handling complex SQL database operations.

   • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and the ability to apply OOP practices and advanced multithreading concepts.

   • Knowledge of IIS Administration, multiple JavaScript frameworks, SoftwareAG webMethods, InRules, SSRS, and MS Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps is preferred.

   • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

   • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

   • Experience with State Government, Medicaid, CHIP, and DHR business areas or healthcare industry is advantageous.
