Role description
Senior Developer – UK SC Security Enforcing Code Location: Central London – hybrid/ad-hoc onsite Contract: 9 Months - Inside IR35 About the Project A leading energy and technology organisation is delivering a modern, cloud-native platform to replace its existing data services infrastructure. The programme focuses on high security, performance, and availability, using messaging-based architecture, Red Hat OpenShift, IBM CloudPak for Integration, and full GitOps automation with CNI-level security. The Role We are seeking a Senior Developer to lead the design and development of Security Enforcing Code components, including anomaly detection and PKI-related services. These components must be developed and maintained by UK-based staff. You will: β€’ Lead a small team of 3–5 UK developers, guiding them through design, build, and delivery β€’ Collaborate with the architecture team on high-level design β€’ Assist with recruitment of delivery team members β€’ Help establish a long-term support capability for these critical components Requirements Must have: β€’ Technical team leadership experience β€’ Custom Application Design expertise β€’ Strong Java development skills β€’ Kafka messaging experience β€’ SQL proficiency Desirable: β€’ Red Hat OpenShift β€’ IBM CloudPak for Integration β€’ Hardware Security Module (HSM) integration Work Setup This is primarily a remote role with occasional onsite presence in Central London for workshops or team activities, typically once or twice per week.
