The Role
As a ServiceNow – Senior Developer (HRSD, S2P), you will design, develop and maintain solutions across ITSM, HRSD and S2P, working closely with architects, product teams and stakeholders. You will contribute to custom applications, integrations, upgrades and enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards. This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in platform configuration and module‑specific development, along with the ability to guide technical teams, recommend best practices and support high‑quality, secure and reliable delivery in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Interpret architecture guidelines and contribute to technical solution design for ServiceNow implementations.
• Work closely with architects and stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements.
• Design and implement solutions aligned with architecture and technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor ServiceNow developers, web designers, integration SMEs and QA analysts.
• Support sprint processes in Agile delivery: estimation, prioritisation and playback sessions.
• Provide recommendations, best practices and workarounds for complex technical issues.
• Track and communicate sprint/user story progress with Project Managers.
• Identify, document and manage risks, dependencies and technical challenges.
• Ensure high‑quality deployment of features and components in line with agreed design standards.
• Ensure security, stability and resilience across the implemented ServiceNow components.
Your Profile
• Strong experience across ITSM, HRSD, and S2P (Source to Pay) ServiceNow modules.
• Hands‑on configuration and customisation experience in HR Service Delivery applications including HR Case Management, HR Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, Enterprise Onboarding & Transitions (Lifecycle Events), Employee Document Management and Performance Analytics for HR.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with HRSM/HRIS systems such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors.
• Proven experience delivering ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations and support activities.
• Ability to design technical solutions based on customer requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, with the ability to map customer needs to ITIL and industry standards.
• Experience managing and reviewing ServiceNow licence data to ensure compliance.
• Mandatory certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow HRSD Implementation Specialist, and ITIL v3 Foundation.
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
• Experience designing custom ServiceNow applications.
• Ability to assess platform stability and performance, recommending improvements.
• Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules such as SecOps, GRC, CSM or ITBM.
• ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certification (preferred).
• Strong stakeholder‑management skills and the ability to navigate conflicts constructively.
