Cloud Engineer/Architect (Bilingual Japanese and English)Supporting Migration from VMware Environment to OpenShift Technical SkillsVMware Expertise: In-depth knowledge of VMware infrastructure, including ESXi, vCenter, and related management tools.OpenShift Proficiency: Thorough understanding of OpenShift architecture, deployment, and management.Containerization: Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with OpenShift.Networking: Strong grasp of network protocols, configuration, and security within virtualized and containerized environments.Storage Solutions: Knowledge of storage technologies and their integration with both VMware and OpenShift.Security: Expertise in implementing security best practices in both VMware and OpenShift environments. Migration ExperienceMigration Planning: Ability to develop detailed migration plans, including risk assessment, timelines, and resource allocation.Data Migration: Experience in migrating data from VMware to OpenShift with minimal downtime and data loss.Application Refactoring: Knowledge of refactoring applications to run efficiently in containerized environments.Automation: Proficiency in using automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for migration tasks.Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that arise during migration.
