Devops Operational Engineers Chandler, AZ $70-$76/hour 18 Month W2 Contract Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote Must have experience with External Cloud such as AWS, Azure, GCP in that order Must have experience setting up a whole devops workflow from scratch- nothing set up now All horizon tools- Ansible, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Terraform Strong CICD- need both CI and CD knowledge and experience Must have some dev background in java/pythonSeeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Operations with hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and modern automation toolchains. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and secure CI/CD pipeline implementation. This role also collaborates closely with application development and operations teams, so familiarity with Java, Golang, and Python is important. The engineer will contribute to both platform engineering and day-to-day operations, enabling secure, scalable, and reliable systems across hybrid cloud environments. 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps or Platform Engineering experience. Strong experience with AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3) and Azure (VMs, Azure AD, AKS, Storage, Networking). Proficiency with Terraform, including writing custom modules and managing state. Experience writing Ansible playbooks for complex deployments. Working knowledge of Java, Golang, and Python for automation and tool development. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK/EFK, Prometheus/Grafana) NICE TO HAVE Any KMS skills or have worked on a KMS team--watch dashboards for alerts and respond - further out responsibility
