Role description
Role: Senior Dynatrace Engineer
Work Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Mode: Hybrid
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)
Job Summary: Under limited supervision, coordinates, designs, and secures computer databases to store, track, and maintain a large volume of critical business information. Serves as highest advanced-level subject matter expert, providing authoritative guidance for professional staff. May also serve in a lead role. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate monitoring, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and research for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across hybrid, multi-cloud, and microservices architectures. This is for the INET Program.
Required Skills:
• Systems engineering, infrastructure support, or monitoring roles. Required. 5 + yrs.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace or similar APM tools. Required. 5 + yrs.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Required. 5 + yrs.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Bash (preferred). Required. 5 + yrs.
• Basic networking understanding (DNS, TCP/IP, Load balancing). Required. 5 + yrs.
• Experience migrating from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS. Required. 5 + yrs.
• Knowledge of recommending baseline monitoring thresholds, KPI’s and SLA's. Required. 5 + yrs.
• Familiarity with enterprise log analysis frameworks and tools like Jira or Service Now. Required. 5 + yrs.
