Role description
£500 per day (Inside IR35)

Initial contract to end of June (likely extension +3 months)
We’re currently supporting a leading tech consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Engineer to join an L3 support team on a high-priority contract basis, supporting a large-scale cloud estate of 20+ applications and services.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring platform stability, resolving complex incidents, and maintaining high availability across production environments.
The Role
You’ll be embedded within a DevOps-focused support team, working across cloud platforms and modern engineering environments to manage BAU operations and critical incidents.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and resolving complex L3 incidents across multiple applications
• Supporting BAU operations for a large, production-critical estate
• Driving platform stability and performance improvements
• Collaborating with engineering, cloud, and delivery teams
• Troubleshooting issues across distributed systems and environments
• Supporting and improving operational processes and monitoring
What We’re Looking For
• Strong experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering / Production Support
• Proven background in L3 support or complex incident management
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Solid understanding of:
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
• Monitoring and observability tools
• Experience supporting multiple applications/services in production
• Python knowledge is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Working Pattern
• Remote working
• Participation in on-call rota (1 week in 4)
• Flexibility to support out-of-hours / overtime when required
