Job Title: Senior ETL Developer w/ Java/.Net (Hybrid β Austin, TX)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid β 90% Remote, occasional onsite)
Duration: 09/15/2025 β 08/31/2026 (704 hours, possible extension)
Schedule: Monday β Friday, 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM CST (may require evenings/weekends with approval)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to perform advanced analysis and programming work across all technical aspects of designing, creating, and maintaining enterprise applications. The role involves working with large datasets, ETL processes, and supporting an integrated data system project with strong collaboration across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Perform technical analysis, review user requirements, and create design documents.
β’ Develop, code, and implement software following industry standards and best practices.
β’ Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure compliance with requirements.
β’ Prepare and maintain technical documentation (design docs, process flows, data models, test plans, etc.).
β’ Collaborate with project teams during sprints/releases, providing estimates, design input, defect resolution, and status updates.
β’ Support system design, data integration, and governance requirements for large-scale initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
β’ 15+ years experience creating ETL processes, transporting, and aggregating large datasets.
β’ 15+ years with SQL Server or Oracle (stored procedures, PL/SQL, Dynamic SQL, exception handling).
β’ 10+ years experience with object-oriented frameworks such as .NET Core or Java.
β’ 10+ years working with XML, JSON, API Testing, JavaScript, and JQuery.
β’ 10+ years supporting mid-to-large scale enterprise SDLC environments.
β’ 2+ years experience working with state agencies.
Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps).
β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
β’ Experience using tools such as Jira, Tempo, BitBucket, Confluence.
Additional Information
β’ This is a hybrid role: 90% remote with occasional onsite meetings in Austin, TX.
β’ May require occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays with pre-approval.
β’ Travel or related expenses will not be covered unless pre-approved.
