Job Description • We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to lead the evaluation of gateway technologies for our organization. • Responsible for assessing, comparing, and recommending gateway solutions that align with our technical and business requirements. • Lead the technical evaluation of various gateway technologies (API gateways, service mesh, etc.). • Analyze current system architecture and integration points to identify requirements for gateway solutions. • Develop proof-of-concept implementations to assess performance, scalability, and security features. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand use cases. • Document findings, comparisons, and recommendations in detailed reports. • Present evaluation results and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging gateway technologies. • Provide technical guidance and best practices for gateway integration and deployment. Qualifications • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience desired • Hands-on experience with API gateways (e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, NGINX, etc.). • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture. • Experience with security protocols, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, API gateways, cloud platforms, and integration solutions. • Primary Skills: • Any Gateway Technology • API Manager and Custom Policies Implementation • API Security - SSL, OAuth2, Threat Protection, Data Protection..etc • RAML Specification • GIT • DevOps - Git, Maven, Jenkins • JMeter • Nexus • Java • Azure Cloud Concepts • Secondary Skills: • ELK • Dynatrace • Python • Kafka • Azure DevOps • Docker, K8s Benefits Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois.
