About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Informatica Developer with extensive experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) to design, develop, and modernize our data integration solutions. This role involves analyzing existing on-premises integrations, refactoring or rewriting them in IICS, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability of data pipelines across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IICS.
Analyze and migrate existing Informatica PowerCenter or legacy ETL integrations to IICS.
Rewrite, optimize, and modernize data integration processes for improved performance and scalability.
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to translate business requirements into efficient data models and pipelines.
Integrate IICS workflows with cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Salesforce).
Develop reusable integration components and ensure consistency with enterprise data standards.
Troubleshoot data, performance, and connectivity issues across environments.
Document technical solutions, data flows, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in Informatica development, with at least 2+ years in IICS (Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, Cloud Mass Ingestion).
Strong understanding of data integration concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices.
Proven ability to migrate and rewrite complex PowerCenter or legacy ETL processes to IICS.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Synapse, or BigQuery.
Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres).
Hands-on experience with APIs, REST/SOAP integration, and JSON/XML processing.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data integration.
Experience with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to data governance, metadata management, and MDM tools.
