CERTIFICATIONS:Β AWS Certified DevOps Engineer β Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure, DevOps Engineer Expert.
Responsibilities
1. Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs.
1. Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
1. Planning the team structure and activities and involvement in project management activities.
1. Managing stakeholders and external interfaces.
1. Setting up tools and required infrastructure.
1. Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
1. Have the technical skills to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
1. Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs.
1. Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage.
1. Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
1. Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
1. Incidence management and root cause analysis.
1. Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.
1. Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
1. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
1. Mentoring and guiding the team members.
1. Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
1. Managing periodic reporting on the progress of the management and the customer.
Qualifications
β’ At least seven years of experience performing the functions associated with this labor category.
β’ Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
β’ Experience in developing/engineering applications for a large company.
β’ Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineer role.
β’ Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
