Role description
Location: Draper, UT
Onsite Expectation: 2–3 days per week in office, or whenever required
Duration: June 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer Lead to be embedded onsite with FPT Team 2 offshore: Inspect.
The team's full technology stack spans backend services, frontend, data, and cloud infrastructure.
Backend
• Built on C# and .NET with REST APIs and Node.js
• Java and Spring Boot are being actively deprecated and phased out
• Exception: some automation repositories continue to use Java
Frontend
• Powered by React, Angular, and JavaScript
Data
• Data management relies on MS SQL and SQL for all relational database needs
Infrastructure
• AWS-based
• Active migration from EC2 to EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
• All provisioning managed through Terraform
• GitHub Actions handling CI/CD pipeline automation and deployments
Observability and Monitoring
• Handled through Splunk or New Relic
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on proficiency across this stack, with depth in .NET/C#, React, and AWS infrastructure. Hands-on experience using Splunk or New Relic for log monitoring, troubleshooting, and observability is preferred.
The current scope of work covers:
• Defect and bug fixes
• Technical debt reduction
• System variables maintenance
• Security upgrades and patches
• UX updates including fonts, colors, and a React uplift
• Providing release support during launch windows
• Any feature enhancements assigned by the client
The onsite Senior Developer Lead is expected to serve as the primary technical bridge between the client and the offshore team:
• Gathering and translating technical requirements
• Designing and solutioning
• Coding and bug fixing
• Conducting PR reviews
• Ensuring all technical solutions are aligned with client expectations
Beyond delivery, the Senior Developer Lead takes full ownership of:
• The team’s overall quality
• Architecture
• Security
• Code standards
• PROD support
• PD on-call
• Any other work assigned by the Team Manager
