Senior Logistics Analyst Location: Murfreesboro, TN Pay: $43.25–$48/hr Type: 9 month contract with the possibility to convert to permanent. Start date:early October We’re looking for a detail-oriented Senior Logistics Analyst to drive supply chain and logistics excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll analyze data, optimize transportation, and improve delivery performance while collaborating across production, warehousing, and customer service teams. What You’ll Do: Analyze inbound/outbound logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities Track and report on key KPIs like carrier reliability, freight spend, and on-time delivery Support transportation strategy: carrier selection, rate negotiations, freight tendering Resolve logistics bottlenecks and streamline processes across teams Lead process improvement projects using Lean methodologies and digital tools Mentor junior analysts and promote data-driven decision-making Ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements Assist with system enhancements (SAP, TMS) and adoption of new tools Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s a plus) 5+ years in logistics or supply chain analysis; manufacturing/automotive experience a plus Advanced skills in SAP, TMS, Excel (PivotTables, Power Query), and data visualization (Power BI) Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma, carrier negotiations, and logistics strategy
