One of my clients is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer - New York City, NY/ San Francisco, CA (Onsite) for a contract role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 15+ years of professional experience in software engineering and AI/ML development.
• High level of coding proficiency in Python
• Strong experience with production-grade Python software and system design
• Hands-on knowledge of machine learning algorithms and model development techniques
• Experience with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow and DVC
• Expertise in deploying and managing ML systems in cloud environments
• Professional experience working with LLMs and large-scale models
• Excellent software engineering skills with a proven track record of building scalable, distributed ML systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas and concepts
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
