Job Description: Senior Manager - Financial Operations Program Lead
Excelerate is seeking a strategic FinOps Program Lead to manage a high-impact initiative for a FinTech client. This 12-month contract role requires full-time availability and on-site presence in Mountain View.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Headcount & Vendor Management: Oversee processes for hiring full-time employees and contingent workers.
β’ Vendor Contract Data Management: Review and analyze vendor contract data to support contract workforce and Offshore Service Provider (OSP) strategies within the product development lifecycle.
β’ Data & Tools: Build dashboards and tools to manage and visualize large datasets related to headcount, financials, and vendors.
β’ Insights & Risk Management: Analyze data to provide actionable insights and proactively identify business risks.
β’ Program Execution: Manage schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
β’ Client Engagement: Lead key meetings, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and deliver with excellence.
β’ Strategic Thinking: Translate complex data into business cases to support decision-making.
β’ Cross-functional Leadership: Work effectively across disciplines and organizational boundaries to prioritize, problem-solve, and drive alignment.
β’ Independently lead large, complex projects and programs with little to no coaching.
β’ Build structure and guide complex projects through highly ambiguous situations.
β’ Understanding of data-driven decision-making and the ability to assess market trends, client data to develop complex business cases to inform go/no-go decision-making.
β’ Utilize Project Management frameworks to develop detailed work breakdown structures and project plans while translating those detailed plans into consumable and manageable summaries for client executives.
β’ Provide exceptional client delivery through critical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications:
β’ 8+ years in management consulting, with experience in strategic program management and change management & and training.
β’ Expertise in handling financial, headcount, and contract data.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from large, complex datasets.
β’ Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Lean).
β’ Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
β’ Comfortable in large, complex organizations (1,000+ people).
β’ Experience with Generative AI, Fintech, or Finance is a plus.
β’ Availability to be on-site in Mountain View is required.
β’ Bachelorβs degree required; MBA preferred.
