Job Title: Senior Marketing Analyst
Location: Onsite β Peoria, IL
Contract duration: 12 month contract with potential to extend or convert
Job Summary:
Seeking a senior-level Marketing Analyst with extensive experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to lead customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and lead generation initiatives through advanced marketing automation strategies. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and optimizing personalized, data-driven customer journeys across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging. The position partners closely with product, digital marketing, and technical teams to develop segmentation strategies, automate customer communications, improve engagement, and drive subscription adoption and retention. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SFMC architecture, data management, journey orchestration, AMPscript development, automation, analytics, and cross-channel campaign execution while ensuring deliverability, compliance, and marketing best practices.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, test, deploy, and optimize marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
β’ Develop and manage customer lifecycle journeys, including onboarding, activation, nurture, retention, and re-engagement programs.
β’ Build and maintain audience segmentation, behavioral triggers, personalization strategies, and dynamic content.
β’ Create and manage workflows within Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder.
β’ Develop and maintain AMPscript and utilize SSJS for advanced personalization and automation requirements.
β’ Execute and support multi-channel campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
β’ Partner with stakeholders to translate marketing objectives into automated customer journeys and segmentation logic.
β’ Perform campaign QA, rendering validation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
β’ Conduct A/B testing and analyze engagement metrics to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.
β’ Manage data governance, deliverability, compliance, subscriber health, and suppression strategies.
β’ Support API integrations and data exchanges with CRM and external systems.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
β’ 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
β’ Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications:
β’ Email Specialist
β’ Marketing Cloud Administrator
β’ Marketing Cloud Developer
β’ Marketing Cloud Consultant
β’ Advanced experience with:
