Join a dynamic team as a Senior Native Cloud Developer, spearheading innovative serverless solutions within AWS. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical vaccine management systems for prominent health departments, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies. You will design, develop, and optimize scalable, secure back-end applications leveraging AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and React-based front-end components, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust system performance.
Education
β’ A Bachelors degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not required
Clearance
β’ Public Trust clearance is required. Candidates with US or Green Card status are eligible to process.
Onsite Requirements
β’ 100% remote with flexible scheduling
Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain serverless applications using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway
β’ Work on React-based front-end hosted on CloudFront and S3
β’ Integrate AWS Cognito for user authentication and authorization
β’ Utilize DynamoDB for data storage and management
β’ Build dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight
β’ Collaborate within an agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently
β’ Monitor application performance and implement optimizations, including Lambda cold start mitigation and database performance tuning
β’ Ensure system security and compliance with AWS security best practices
Required Skills
β’ Extensive experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3
β’ Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript in serverless architectures
β’ Hands-on experience with React.js and Single Page Applications (SPA)
β’ Adept at leveraging AWS Cognito for authentication and authorization
β’ Knowledge of cloud security best practices
β’ Experience working in Agile development environments
β’ Ability to quickly adapt to new development tasks and prioritize effectively
Nice To Have
β’ Experience with AWS CloudFront, QuickSight, and other cloud services
β’ Familiarity with containerizing Lambda functions using AWS SAM or containers
β’ Background in backend development with Java or Spring (a plus but not mandatory)
β’ Experience with database performance tuning and query optimization for DynamoDB and Postgres
β’ Knowledge of AWS proxy integrations for databases and microservices
β’ Understanding of Lambda performance considerations, including cold start mitigation strategies
