We are currently seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Data Administrator for a long-term contract role. This position is full-time, offers hybrid flexibility, and comes with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Job Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage robust data management solutions on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Administer Oracle databases and data management services, ensuring high performance, security, and availability. Develop and execute data migration strategies from on-premise systems to the Oracle Cloud. Implement data governance policies, data quality checks, and master data management (MDM) principles. Manage data integration workflows between various cloud and on-premise applications. Oversee database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain robust security controls for sensitive data. Provide expert-level support for data-related issues and act as a subject matter expert for IT Financial and Auditing Consulting services. Minimum Qualifications A minimum of five (5) years of direct experience with Oracle Cloud data management, including Oracle Database Cloud Service and other OCI data management tools. Proven expertise in database administration, data migration, and data integration. Strong knowledge of data security principles and best practices within a cloud environment. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell). Demonstrated experience in data modeling and database design. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets. Preferred Skills Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification(s). Experience with other functional areas such as IT Financials, Business Process Consulting, or Enterprise Service Provision. Previous experience working with public sector or utility data.
