Job Title: Senior Oracle DBA (Hybrid) Location: Richmond, VA 23219 Duration: 6 Months Interview Process: Both Web Cam and In Person Interview Note: Hybrid schedule: Monday - Wednesday in office, Thursday - Friday remote Job DescriptionThe client has an opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA). Minimum Qualifications Strong DBA experience in working with Oracle 19c Must be familiar with 19c Oracle RAC Must be familiar with Dataguard Physical Standby Must have experience with RMAN backup and recovery Experience with export data pump and import data pump utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux Must possess strong troubleshooting skills Must have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience supporting Linux or Unix System Administration, a bonus Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred Familiarity with SQL Server support during normal business hours and some off-hours Top Skills & Years of Experience Strong DBA experience in working with Oracle 19c – Required – 10 years Familiarity with 19c Oracle RAC – Required – 3 years Familiarity with Dataguard Physical Standby – Required – 3 years RMAN backup and recovery – Required – 10 years Export/import data pump, Oracle Enterprise Manager, ASM on Linux – Required – 5 years Strong troubleshooting skills – Required – 10 years Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – Required – 10 years Bachelor’s Degree in IS or CS or equivalent education/experience – Desired – 4 years Linux or Unix System Administration support – Highly desired – 3 years Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Desired – 3 years Experience with SQL Server 2019 – Desired – 3 years #GSKIT Job Type: Contract Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, VA 23219
