Position Overview
Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Cloud ORC Developer to join an exciting company on a contract engagement. We are seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud ORC Developer to support and enhance their Oracle Cloud HCM and ORC environments. This role focuses on optimizing recruitment and hiring processes, building custom technical solutions, and delivering high-quality integrations, dashboards, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong communication skills who can collaborate closely with HR and Talent Acquisition teams and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization & Functional Support
β’ Lead process optimization work across recruitment and hiring workflows within Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC).
β’ Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
β’ Create dashboards and analytics requested by customers and HR teams.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues across ORC (requisitions, applications, job postings) and other Oracle HCM modules (Payroll, Absence, Workflows, etc.).
Technical Design & Development
β’ Develop custom solutions using Oracle Cloud PaaS services, including OCI, ATP, APEX, PL/SQL, VBCS, and related tools.
β’ Build new applications and enhancements from scratch using APEX, SQL, ATS, and other development frameworks.
β’ Create technical flowcharts, process documentation, visuals, and wireframes to support user understanding and design clarity.
β’ Build customizations and configurations in Oracle Cloud HCM and ORC modules.
Integrations, Reporting & Data Management
β’ Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including orchestrations, adapters, and API-based connections.
β’ Support API integrations, web services, and large-scale data processing tasks.
β’ Utilize HDL (HCM Data Loader) for data transformations and bulk data operations.
β’ Develop ETL processes and leverage ETL tools for extract/transform/load activities.
β’ Build reports requiring advanced SQL, PL/SQL, jQuery, HTML, and JavaScript.
Top Required Skills
β’ Senior-level Oracle Cloud System Development experience.
β’ Expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM & ORC, including custom configurations and solution development.
β’ Deep technical experience with PaaS in OCI: ATP, APEX, PL/SQL, VBCS, etc.
β’ Fast Formula expertise.
β’ HDL (HCM Data Loader) proficiency.
β’ Strong API / web service integration experience.
β’ ETL development experience and familiarity with ETL toolsets.
β’ Advanced coding skills: SQL, PL/SQL, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript.
