About the job
Our client, the worldβs leading risk and claims administration partner recognized as Americaβs Greatest Workplaces, is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer. In this role, you responsible for designing and developing high-volume custom data load packages to import and transform data from customer-provided sources into our clients' internal claims processing system.
This is a 6-month 100% remote contract opening with an excellent chance of being extended. There is also a chance it could be converted to permanent.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ At least 8+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
β’ Strong skills in Oracle server-side programming including SQL, SQL
β’ Plus, PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Triggers, Views, Materialize Views, Temporary tables, Object Oriented PL/SQL Programming, Job, Schedulers, and Oracle AQ.
β’ Proven experience designing, building, and optimizing data loading workflows to process structured data from various sources (e.g., flat files, CSVs, external databases).
β’ Hands on experience writing Cursors, User-defined Object types, Records, and Tables in PL/SQL Programming for generating worksheets, Arrays & Queues.
β’ Strong skills in Exception Handling extensively debug PL/SQL Code, DDL, DML and display the error messages in the application.
β’ Experience with writing hierarchical queries.
β’ Experience with external tables and high-volume data import into Oracle DB
β’ Experience creating Materialized Views and Indexes for better performance of summary tables, Autonomous Transactions and Coding Dynamic SQL statements.
