Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Jersey City NJ (LOCAL ONLY)
Overview:
We’re looking for a seasoned Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team working on financial trading applications. You'll focus on building and maintaining Oracle databases and developing PL/SQL code to process large data sets coming from AWS S3.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Oracle database objects (procedures, functions, triggers, views).
• Load data from AWS S3 into Oracle using SQL Loader.
• Analyze and transform data for downstream consumption.
• Tune SQL and PL/SQL code for performance.
• Work in a Linux environment using basic Unix commands.
• Collaborate with global Agile teams.
Must-Have Skills:
• 8–10 years of Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and extracting data.
• Experience with SQL Loader and batch data processing.
• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Python scripting for automation.
• Control-M or other scheduling tools.
• Core Java knowledge.
• Experience in the financial industry, especially Capital Markets.
• Database modeling experience.
