Senior Power BI Developer

We are currently seeking an experience Senior PowerBI Developer to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team. Work Location: Location of job: Hybrid, 2 days remote with 3 days (Tues, Wed & Fri). Candidates must be local to Austin, TX Responsibilities Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by creating dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI as determined by the business requirements. Contractor will translate business requirements into Tableau/PowerBI reports, and work with the program staff to ensure it meets the needs of the customer. Contractor will participate in testing or reports and dashboards to ensure proper function, and work with coworkers to publish and promote the reports as needed. Experience with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred. Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week currently, but this is subject to change. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: 8 years of: • Creating reports or data analysis, using Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView or similar. Preferred: 4 years of: • Working with very large scale data sets in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar. 2 years of: • Experience working with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred. • Working with Tableau creating dashboards and reports. • Working with PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.
