Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer Location: White Plains, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: W2 Only (USC, GC, EAD; H1 Transfer Available) Experience Level: Senior (10+ Years) Summary We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Developer to lead the design, development, and migration of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). This role will focus on migrating approximately 10–12 Nintex forms and workflows to SharePoint embedded Power Apps forms, ensuring a smooth transition to modern, governed solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic planning and business analysis skills. Key Responsibilities Migration Leadership: Assess existing Nintex forms and workflows, incorporate business rules, and design equivalent solutions in Power Apps embedded within SharePoint modern pages. Application Development: Build custom business applications using Power Apps and automate workflows with Power Automate. Integration: Connect solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, and external data sources. Governance & Security: Implement best practices for environment strategy, DLP policies, and ALM pipelines. Performance & Scalability: Optimize apps for delegation, responsiveness, and maintainability. Documentation: Prepare technical designs, configuration guides, and user instructions. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, business analysts, and QA engineers to ensure quality and compliance. Required Skills Power Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. SharePoint Integration: Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and embedding Power Apps in modern pages. Migration Experience: Proven ability to migrate complex forms/workflows from Nintex to Power Platform. Scripting & Logic: Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript, or similar scripting languages for advanced logic (e.g., repeating sections). Governance Knowledge: Familiarity with DLP policies, environment strategy, and solution-aware components. Microsoft Ecosystem: Understanding of Microsoft 365, Teams, and Graph API integrations. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and user-centric mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience with custom connectors, Azure AD authentication, and API integrations. Knowledge of ALM pipelines using Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps. Background in QA/testing for Power Platform solutions. Project Context This role is critical for a digital transformation initiative, migrating legacy Nintex forms to modern Power Apps solutions.
