Are you an experienced Python Developer with a passion for building real-time, high-performance applications in the Capital Markets space? We’re looking for a strong technologist to join our Derivatives/Fixed Income IT team supporting Front Office trading.
🧩 About the Role:
As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll design and implement scalable Python solutions for front office applications using tools like Databricks, Kafka, PyXLL, QuestDB, and ArconTech. You'll work closely with traders and quants, delivering solutions that directly impact trading decisions.
This is a high-visibility, hands-on development role where you'll also support and enhance existing systems critical to day-to-day desk operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
• Develop robust Python applications for front office trading workflows
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver features
• Work with Databricks and Kafka to process large-scale data in real-time
• Estimate effort and risk, and communicate progress with stakeholders
• Design scalable architecture and reusable code modules
• Ensure high code quality via CI/CD, static analysis, testing, and reviews
• Support full SDLC – from design and development to deployment and production support
