Senior Reporting Analyst

Salary: $61.75 to $71.50 hourly Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Reporting Analyst to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing data pipelines and business intelligence systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality data solutions that drive decision-making. This position requires to be in the office 5 days a week. Responsibilities • Lead data warehouse initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert with a focus on architecture and best practices. • Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources. • Analyze and map data flows, ensuring accurate source-to-target transformations and resolving complex data issues. • Deliver clean, structured, and high-performance data to support the reporting needs of the IT Business Process & Analytics team. • Optimize BI tools and processes, including performance tuning for enhanced reporting capabilities. • Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Provide guidance on Power BI usage and best practices to ensure effective data visualization and reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in developing and managing data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources. • Proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server, and working with data cubes. • Hands-on expertise with Power BI for at least three years, with the ability to confidently showcase and defend your work. • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and best practices. • Familiarity with business intelligence concepts and tools. • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex data issues effectively. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions.
