Senior SQL Developer - NYC

Our direct client is a performing rights organization that collects and distributes royalties for public performances of work. They are a well-established leader in their field and have been around for 100 + years. The organization is seeking a Senior SQL Developer to join their leading team on a contracting basis here in NYC. Job Title: Senior SQL Developer Location: New York, New York – local candidates only (This role requires to be onsite 3X per week in Midtown, NYC) Duration: Contract (3 + months) opportunity for extension Pay Rate: $75.00 - $85.00 / per hour ( W2 only ) Job Responsibilities • Develop and optimize complex SQL stored procedures, views, and functions. • Perform performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization. • Create and maintain SSIS packages and manage deployments across environments. • Integrate data from platforms like Salesforce and other systems via APIs and ETL tools. • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices. • Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and deliver scalable solutions. Qualifications • 10 + years of experience with SQL development (MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL). • Strong experience with SSIS, ETL workflows, and query performance tuning. • Familiarity with API development and data integration tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend). • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Experience working in Agile teams using tools like JIRA.
