We are looking for an experienced Senior SRE / DevOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of development, operations, and security. In this role, you’ll contribute to mission-critical incident response and automation projects supporting a highly visible internal security team. This is a 100% remote opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule (no overtime expected).

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze complex business requirements and create detailed technical specifications
• Design and develop software components, automation scripts, and enforceable controls (e.g., via Azure Policy and ADO)
• Serve as a technical expert on modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Drive adherence to quality, security, and compliance standards
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure security, privacy, and reliability compliance
• Operate in a flexible, fast-evolving environment
Top Required Skills:
• 10+ years of PowerShell development experience
• 10+ years of C# development experience
• 10+ years of experience with SQL or similar databases
• Strong background in data handling, incident response, and automation
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience with KQL (Kusto Query Language)
• Experience with agile and iterative SDLC methodologies
Nice to Have:
• Background in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
• Previous on-call support experience
• Experience handling sensitive data and security incident management
• Understanding of both individual contributor and management perspectives
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR 10+ years of equivalent experience
• Candidates must have prior experience in a senior developer role in a Windows environment
• Linux-only experience without Windows familiarity will not be considered
• Must have experience with both operations and development
