Please find details for this position below: Client: Banking/Financial Industry Title: Senior Tableau & Power BI Developer / Senior Business Intelligence Developer - Tableau & Power BI / Senior BI Developer - Tableau & Power BI Location: Chandler, AZ OR Phoenix, AZ – Hybrid Role Duration: 12+ Month (s) Extend or Convert based on performances Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tableau and Power BI Developer to join our cybersecurity analytics team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that support executive decision-making and operational visibility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both Tableau and Power BI, with a passion for data accuracy, visualization best practices, and automation. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to support cybersecurity metrics and executive reporting. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and visual storytelling. • Validate data accuracy by comparing report outputs with source systems and databases. • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data definitions and logic. • Conduct regression and functional testing on dashboards during release cycles to ensure seamless data presentation. • Optimize dashboard performance and user experience through effective use of filters, parameters, and drill-downs. • Document test cases, data validation procedures, and dashboard logic for QA, audit and knowledge transfer purposes. • Support the transition of legacy Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring consistency and integrity across platforms. • Participate in peer reviews and mentor junior team members on BI best practices. Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development using Tableau and Power BI. • Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation. • Experience with ETL processes and data modeling. • Familiarity with cybersecurity metrics and reporting is a plus. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Financial services experience specifically big banks. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation. • Knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, or other Microsoft BI tools. • Exposure to Agile development methodologies. • Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
