Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Technical Data Analyst in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
β’ Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring for MMIS data preparation, ETL, and EDI activities
β’ Design data architecture solutions across systems, applications, networks, and Informatica
β’ Translate business and technical requirements into IT solutions with detailed documentation
β’ Build and maintain ETL processes using Informatica for data integration
β’ Deliver data analytics solutions within scope and timeline
β’ Develop proofs of concept to support agile business solutions and refine architecture
β’ Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases; Test and optimize workflows for accuracy and integrity
β’ Apply expertise in Oracle Suite, Informatica Secure Agent, and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Service (IICS)
β’ Perform SQL queries for data analysis
β’ Identify and mitigate technology and infrastructure risks
β’ Document ETL processes, including testing scenarios
β’ Tune ETL performance for efficiency and resource use
β’ Ensure PHI/PII data is handled securely and accurately per company policies and HIPAA standards
β’ Collaborate on infrastructure standards, guidelines, and development processes
β’ Support RFP and SOW creation and vendor negotiations for ETL-related solutions and services
β’ Partner with business leads, infrastructure teams, and third parties to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions
β’ Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, applications, data warehouse, and security teams to align architecture with business strategy
β’ Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, IT with 10+ years' experience, or equivalent in healthcare administration setting
β’ Strong foundation in programming, databases, data warehousing, and data quality
β’ Skilled in enterprise architecture and data tools, especially Informatica
β’ Proficient in ETL development, troubleshooting, and analytics
β’ Advanced SQL and database management experience
β’ Reliable in completing tasks independently
β’ Knowledgeable in data technologies and current computing trends
β’ Able to translate business strategy into actionable data plans
β’ Experienced with cloud-native and enterprise applications (AWS preferred)
β’ Familiar with risk management, disaster recovery, and IT compliance
β’ Quick to learn and apply new technologies
β’ Capable of estimating, prioritizing, and sequencing tasks
β’ Strong communicator and collaborator; Effective in meetings and presentations
β’ Skilled in documenting technical artifacts (e.g., environment setup, system architecture, runbooks)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
