Role: Senior Technical Lead – Java, Microservices, VueJS Location: San Jose, CA – Hybrid (F2F Client Interview Mandatory) Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and VueJS to lead enterprise-scale development projects at PayPal. The role involves technical leadership, hands-on coding, architecture design, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a hybrid work environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead and manage Java, Microservices, and VueJS development projects from concept to delivery. 1. Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams. 1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable, high-performance solutions. 1. Ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and optimal performance. 1. Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to mitigate technical risks. 1. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively. 1. Stay updated with industry trends, driving innovation in architecture and development practices. Required Skills & Expertise Backend Development: • Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, JaX-RS, and Microservices architecture • Experience with PayPal RUDS framework Platform Integration: • Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices Performance Optimization: • Experience with latency reduction and performance tuning techniques Observability & Monitoring: • Hands-on experience with tools like DataDog and CAL AI-Native Development Approach: • Familiarity with AI-driven design principles and leveraging AI in all phases of SDLC Frontend Development: • Proficiency in VueJS for building responsive and interactive applications Other Skills: • In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices communication, and containerization • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration • Proven leadership in managing teams and project delivery
