Position Summary:
GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with a strong React foundation for a startup-focused project. The ideal candidate will have a 60% UX / 40% UI profile, capable of producing UX deliverables (user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes) and also shipping production-ready code. This role works alongside an existing UI developer to build scalable, performant, and responsive web applications. Candidates must be able to work US hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product stakeholders, UX designers, and back-end engineers to deliver user-centric applications.
• Produce UX deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Develop production-ready front-end code in React (mandatory) and Angular (high priority), integrating with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Implement modern front-end best practices using TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices and browsers.
• Present UX concepts and deliverables to leadership and the broader team.
• Maintain code quality, test coverage, and CI/CD integration for front-end pipelines.
Required Technical Skills:
• Strong React.js experience (mandatory) and Angular (high priority).
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• UX design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch with ability to produce user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Front-end frameworks/libraries: React (optional Redux, Tailwind, Bootstrap), Angular (optional RxJS, Angular Material).
• Integration with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Ability to work US hours.
• Live, viewable portfolio demonstrating UX and UI projects (Figma links, websites, GitHub, case studies).
Highly Desired (Not Required):
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Windsurf.
• UX presentation experience to stakeholders.
• Front-end framework certifications (React, Angular).
