Role description
Key Responsibilities: • Architecture Strategy & Execution: Lead the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce solutions—balancing enterprise standards with the flexibility to support regional needs. • Multi-Org Consolidation: Drive the consolidation of multiple Salesforce orgs into a unified global architecture, ensuring data integrity, streamlined processes, and system scalability. • Revenue Cloud Enablement: Lead the deployment and optimization of Salesforce Revenue Cloud, including CPQ, billing, subscription management, and renewals automation. • Integration Expertise: Design and implement robust, secure integrations with external platforms such as ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle), eCommerce systems, marketing automation, and customer portals using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica). • Migration & Data Strategy: Lead complex data migration initiatives, including ETL planning, data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities. • Hands-On Development & Oversight: Design and develop custom Salesforce components (Apex, LWC, Visualforce), and oversee development teams to ensure code quality and architectural integrity. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with global business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, define scalable solutions, and ensure smooth project execution. • Governance & Optimization: Define and enforce global Salesforce governance, including performance monitoring, security compliance, and technical debt management. • Mentorship & Enablement: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to internal teams, promoting architectural standards, reusability, and platform best practices. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. • At least 7-8 years of experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role, with extensive hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM, and other Salesforce platforms. • Proven success leading large-scale Salesforce multi-org consolidation and global transformation projects. • Expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds, including Revenue Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Core (Sales/Service Cloud). • Strong hands-on development skills and proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce, and declarative tools. • Strong experience with DevOps and CI/CD for Salesforce (e.g., Github, Gearset, Copado, Jenkins). • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks and enterprise program management. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and IT. • Global experience working with distributed teams and regional business units. • Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, integration frameworks, and performance optimization. • Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.). • Solid background in data migration, large data volumes (LDV), and ETL processes. • Salesforce Application Architect and System Architect certifications require Preferred Qualifications: • Actively pursuing or certified as a Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is highly preferred. • Prior experience integrating Salesforce with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). • Experience with Heroku, B2B/B2C Commerce, and external system architecture. • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development tools. • Understanding of customer data platforms and digital marketing ecosystems
