Role Description This is a contract role for a SharePoint and Confluence Wiki Developer. The role is located on-site in Phoenix, AZ. The developer will be responsible for managing SharePoint environments, designing and maintaining SharePoint sites, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting information technology initiatives. This position entails day-to-day management, enhancement, and optimization of SharePoint and Confluence platforms to ensure seamless operation and meet business requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop solutions using SharePoint Online (Modern UI) including site collections, pages, lists, libraries, web parts, and workflows. • Create and manage Confluence Wiki spaces, templates, macros, and automation for knowledge management and collaboration. • Customize and extend SharePoint and Confluence using Power Automate, Power Apps, REST APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript. • Implement permissions, governance, and best practices for SharePoint and Confluence platforms. • Migrate existing documentation/content from legacy platforms or file shares to SharePoint or Confluence. • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable collaboration solutions. • Provide user training, support, and documentation on SharePoint and Confluence usage and best practices. • Monitor and ensure platform performance, security, and compliance. Required Skills: • Strong experience in SharePoint Online development and administration. • Proficiency in Confluence (Cloud and/or Server) setup, customization, and scripting (e.g., using Atlassian SDK, ScriptRunner). • Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps). • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, REST APIs. • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook integration). • Familiarity with Atlassian ecosystem including JIRA integration with Confluence. • Good understanding of collaboration, knowledge management, and information architecture principles. mohan@synergent.net mohan@synergent.net
