Role description
Intro:
Our client is a global systems integrator seeking a Snowflake Architect for an initial 6-month contract(Outside IR35) based in Central London. You’ll join a high-performing team delivering a major data modernisation programme for one of their key end-user customers.
What you’ll work on:
• Designing and implementing modern data architectures across cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Building and optimising Snowflake-based data solutions to support enterprise-wide analytics.
• Translating business requirements into robust technical designs, specifications, and solution documentation.
• Developing and implementing ETL, data integration, and data migration pipelines.
• Designing and implementing master data management (MDM) systems and processes.
• Defining and implementing data quality frameworks, controls, and monitoring processes.
• Supporting the build-out of advanced analytics capabilities, including data science, AI, ML, and data visualisation.
• Producing high-quality documentation including HLDs, LLDs, data models, configuration details, and platform setup
What you’ll bring:
• Ability to produce clear, structured documentation including HLDs, LLDs, and technical design artefacts.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed specifications.
• Deep experience designing and implementing BI and modern data analytics platform solutions.
• Strong background in data architecture, data modelling, and cloud-native data engineering.
• Expertise in ETL, data integration, and data migration design and delivery.
• Strong understanding of data quality frameworks, tooling, and governance processes.
• Exposure to data science, AI, ML, and data visualisation concepts and platforms.
