We are looking for Snowflake Data Engineer for our client in Alpharetta, GA Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer Job Location: Alpharetta, GA Job Type: Contract Job Description: • The Snowflake Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data integration solutions using Snowflake, SnowSQL, and other big data technologies. • This role involves architecting data warehouses, optimizing data pipelines, and guiding the team through implementation and performance tuning. • The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Snowflake, Python, and modern data architecture practices, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities. Responsibilities: • Lead data integration activities, including architecture, design, coding, and testing phases. • Architect the data warehouse and provide guidance on implementation using Snowflake, SnowSQL, and big data technologies. • Utilize Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, and big data modeling techniques with Python. • Perform performance tuning of Snowflake pipelines and troubleshoot issues efficiently. • Work extensively with relational and NoSQL data stores using dimensional modeling (star and snowflake schemas). • Design and automate data pipelines using cloud-based technologies and testing processes. • Create clear technical and functional documentation for developed solutions. • Demonstrate proposed solutions effectively with strong communication and presentation skills. Requirement/Must Have: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing operational solutions on Snowflake Data Warehouse. • Hands-on experience with Python and major relational databases. • Strong understanding of Snowflake internals and integration with data processing and reporting technologies. • Proven ability to translate requirements into design and resolve issues promptly. • Experience optimizing the performance of Spark jobs. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
