Snowflake Data Engineer - Outside IR35 - Hybrid (3 days a week)About the Role We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions within our modern cloud data platform. You will play a key role in developing high-performance data pipelines, implementing data models, and enabling advanced analytics using Snowflake. The ideal candidate has strong experience in cloud-based data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and performance optimization, along with a passion for building reliable, scalable data systems. Key Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake β€’ Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schema) to support business intelligence and analytics β€’ Develop ELT processes using SQL, stored procedures, and cloud-native tools β€’ Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming platforms) into Snowflake β€’ Implement data governance, security, masking, and role-based access controls β€’ Monitor performance and optimize queries, clustering, and warehouse configurations β€’ Collaborate with analytics, BI, and data science teams to deliver high-quality datasets β€’ Support CI/CD processes and infrastructure-as-code for data deployments β€’ Ensure data quality, validation, and observability best practices Required Qualifications β€’ 3+ years of experience in data engineering β€’ Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, security) β€’ Strong SQL skills and experience with complex query optimization β€’ Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines β€’ Proficiency with at least one cloud platform: β€’ Amazon Web Services (AWS) β€’ Microsoft Azure (Azure) β€’ Google Cloud Platform (GCP) β€’ Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) β€’ Experience with version control (e.g., Git) β€’ Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling To apply for this role please submit your CV or contact Dillon Blackburn on or at .
