Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a skilled and driven Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and optimize data solutions for electric utility data initiatives. Summary: In this role, you will build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines and data models leveraging Snowflake's cloud data platform. You will support the integration and analysis of complex data sets from advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), distributed energy resources (DER), grid sensors, and other operational systems to enable data-driven decision-making across the electric utility landscape. Responsibilities:
β’ Snowflake Developer will design and develop scalable data pipelines and data models using Snowflake for electric utility data use cases
β’ Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and process large volumes of structured and semi-structured data
β’ Implement and maintain data security, privacy, and governance standards within Snowflake environments
β’ Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business analysts to design solutions that meet business requirements and performance standards
β’ Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT), as well as for analytics and reporting purposes
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot performance and data quality issues to ensure reliability and accuracy of data assets
β’ Automate and orchestrate data workflows using tools such as dbt, Airflow, or native Snowflake capabilities
β’ As a Snowflake Developer, you will support advanced analytics and data science teams with optimized and well-structured datasets
β’ Stay up-to-date on Snowflake features and best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities

β’ Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
