Role description

Role 1:
Snowflake Administrator
Duration: 3-6 Months Contract to hire
Location: Plano/Dallas, TX or Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Must be able to come onsite 1-2 days a week in the given locations
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake in a production environment
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python) for automation and maintenance
Experience working with Power BI and/or Azure services integrated with Snowflake
Solid understanding of cloud data warehouse architecture and data lifecycle best practices
Familiarity with data security, audit compliance, and governance policies in Snowflake
Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a collaborative team setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Snowflake environments
Exposure to CI/CD practices and infrastructure automation for data platforms
Snowflake certification (preferred but not required)
Ability to work with strong personalities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Sr. Data & Analytics Platform Engineer (Snowflake engineer)
Location: Plano/Dallas, TX or Richmond, V
Type: Fulltime Perm
Must be able to come onsite 1-2 days a week in the given locations
The main needs other than being an expert with Snowflake as a platform, is around snowflake Compliance and Governance within Snowflake
Purpose of the role
The platform engineer will be a key contributor in evaluating, designing and implementing advanced features along with ensuring reliability, scalability, security of Data & Analytics platforms.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent area
5+ years with Snowflake Platform engineering experience in an enterprise-level environment
3+ years experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
3+ years leading the end-to-end design and development of scalable services to be consumed by the enterprise, including monitoring and production support
3+ years developing and maintaining NIST-aligned Cybersecurity audit functionality
Advanced proficiency with Python, SQL, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Bicep templates, and PowerShell is required.
5+ years of DevOps experience with a clear understanding of related tools, structure, and processes working in an Agile/Scrum setting
Experience in cloud cost-savings plans, reviews, and reserved instances
Experience in DevOps and SRE practices, testing frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, and building CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to various audience types
Experience on a fast-paced, highly collaborative agile team within a Product-oriented organization
Effective problem-solving, analytical thinking, and a cloud-native and security-first mind set
Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to positively influence team norms, culture, and technical vision
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud services such as Snowflake, Databricks, Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, Batch, Key Vault, and Log Analytics
Strong experience with popular database programming languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures
Snowflake SnowPro, Azure, Databricks certifications
Familiarity with microservices software architecture and Machine Learning experience is preferred
Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, CDC, Message-Oriented data movement, API design and stream data integration. Moderate experience with Big Data
