Solution Architect

Job Title: Solution Architect Location: Oceana, WV Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) Location: Remote (U.S. Based) EST Clearance Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and able to obtain a Public Trust Employment Type: [Full-time/Contract] Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) to provide advanced technical expertise and guidance in support of our data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. The RSA will play a critical role in shaping and executing modern architectures, ensuring secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that align with mission and enterprise requirements. Key Responsibilities • Build, validate, and optimize data and AI blueprints. • Architect, implement, and support operations for Lakehouse environments. • Establish and oversee data and AI governance frameworks to ensure compliance, scalability, and security. • Provide expert migration support for data, applications, and AI/ML workloads into modern platforms. • Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of AI and machine learning solutions, including integration of advanced ML frameworks. • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, effectively translating business needs into technical execution. Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Resident Architect with a focus on data and AI solutions. • Deep knowledge of Lakehouse architectures (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Delta Lake). • Expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.). • Demonstrated success with data migration projects and modernization efforts. • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both executives and engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting federal government programs or regulated industries. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments. • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Databricks certifications.
