Role description
Role: Splunk Developer (NOT Admin) Location: Reston, VA (RTC) Job description Looking for a seasoned Splunk Dashboard DEVELOPER – someone that is β€œliving & breathing” on Splunk Dashboards Person must have excellent experience in Splunk DEVELOPMENT Must have extensive background in developing dashboards in Splunk – Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, alerts, reports to provide actionable insight into system performance and reliability Splunk certifications – Splunk Developer β€’ , Admin or other certifications also nice to have (must have at least one, specifically certified Splunk Developer) Splunk Dashboard studio SPL programming – Splunk Programming Language Background of development with Java or Python UI experience with Splunk Dashboards is needed - Java Scripting (see notes below on business facing dashboards and ability to make the UI more user-friendly in Splunk AWS (Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3 – mandate services) – Must have AWS experience but does not mean this person will necessarily be implementing or solutioning in AWS, the need to understand how the services interact with Splunk Dashboards as it relates to the logs, etc..
