Role description
Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Splunk Engineer for a contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in Lehi, UT. Responsibilities: • This role will join our Observability team, specifically working on our Splunk infrastructure. It will be responsible for improving some of our internal APIs and infrastructure-as-code deployments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Splunk, Python, Infrastructure as Code, AWS, Configuration Management (Salt) and Deployment tools (Github Actions, Jenkins, etc). Required Skills: • Experience with logging systems like Splunk • Programming experience with languages like Python; Building REST APIs • Experience working with Gitops or infrastructure-as-code • Experience designing and implementing systems for fault tolerance, scalability and stability. • Experience developing, deploying and running distributed applications on cloud platforms. • Ensure the highest level of up-time and Quality of Service (QoS) to Adobe's customers through operational excellence • Knowledge of (public and/or private) cloud • Experience in designing and maintaining production monitoring systems • Experience in solving performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools • Exceptional communicator in and across teams, driving projects to completion • Impacts the organization through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions. • Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience required SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
