Role description
Contract rate: £650 inside IR35
Contract Duration: 5 months - with a view to convert to perm at VP Level
Location: London, Hybrid, 3 days
Client: Investment Bank
Requirements:
• Design, deploy, and maintain Splunk Enterprise infrastructure including indexers, search heads, forwarders, and deployment servers.
• Onboard and normalize new data sources, creating and maintaining inputs, props, and transforms for parsing and field extractions.
• Build and optimize dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet operational, security, and business requirements.
• Implement and maintain Splunk clustering, load balancing, and high availability solutions.
• Perform regular upgrades, patches, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Manage user access, authentication, and role-based permissions in Splunk to ensure security and compliance.
• Integrate Splunk with third-party systems, APIs, and security tools for enriched event correlation.
• Conduct license management, capacity planning, and health monitoring of Splunk infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights from log data.
