• • No C2C • • We are currently looking for a hands-on contributor who’s technically strong in SQL, Spotfire, and Python (IronPython scripting experience is a plus), and who brings a curious, collaborative mindset. You'll be working directly with the Senior Analytics Engineer to bring consistency, performance, and clarity to our reporting layer. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: • Refactor existing Spotfire dashboards using modern DBT models in Snowflake • Apply SQL and Python to streamline data workflows and reduce technical debt • Use IronPython in Spotfire to enhance interactivity and automate reporting tasks (nice to have, but not critical) • Support the creation of reliable, documented, and trusted data assets used across the business • Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand reporting needs and ensure alignment • Document updates and provide context for handoff EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • 4+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data engineering – preference for Upstream O&G experience • Strong SQL skills, experience with Snowflake is a plus • Spotfire dashboard development experience required; IronPython scripting strongly preferred • Familiarity with Python for data handling and workflow tasks • Exposure to DBT is helpful (or ability/willingness to learn quickly – SQL based) • Basic understanding of Lease Operating Expenses and Production Databases • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, computer science etc.) or equivalent practical experience QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SQL, Spotfire, Python, R, and Power BI (not required but a plus) • Familiarity with Streamlit, Posit • Strong organizational skills • Curious mindset/willingness to develop new skills under guidance of senior team members • A solid understanding of data sources, data organization and storage.
