SQL Analyst Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SQL Analyst to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL development and database management, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and business requirements. Key Requirements: Experience & Technical Skills: • Minimum 8 years of hands-on SQL experience • Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server environments • Strong experience with Azure SQL Server and cloud-based database solutions • Advanced skills in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions • Proven troubleshooting and performance optimization capabilities Core Competencies: • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and business requirements • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with database design principles and best practices • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures • Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize query execution • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements • Design and implement data solutions using SQL Server and Azure SQL platforms • Ensure data integrity and security compliance • Create and maintain technical documentation Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, etc.) • Knowledge of data modeling and database architecture • Familiarity with version control systems • Understanding of business intelligence concepts
