SQL Database Developer

International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS) is a government contractor located in Washington, DC area. A CMMI Level (3), ISO 90012015, and ISO 27001 organization, ILS provides integrated services and flexible solutions to federal, state, and local agencies and private institutions. ILS is looking for a dedicated Database Developer to support a large-scale project. The Database Developer role is based in New York City and may involve on-site visits to the client’s location within the city. While the current work arrangement is HYBRID (remote work from home or at the ILS Headquarters in Fairfax, VA), applicants should only apply if they are willing and able to travel to the client site in New York City as needed. Develop and maintain systems to store, organize, and access data. This highly technical role incorporates aspects of computer programming, software engineering, and data architecture and management. SQL developers analyze an organization’s data management, input, and security needs and design tools that support data access and information security. Development of SQL databases for a wide variety of applications and business uses. KEY REQUIREMENTS Writes and optimizes SQL Statements for data access and retention and performs regular database management duties including backups and audits to ensure that SQL databases remain accessible, secure, and stable.
