The role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing best practices, and ensuring real-time data synchronization between MS SQL Server and MySQL databases. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SQL Server replication, performance tuning, and cross-platform data integration. Key Responsibilities: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server replication to ensure real-time data synchronization. Diagnose and resolve replication issues related to SQL Server settings, network latency, and data consistency. Implement best practices for replication security, including Windows Authentication, SSL/TLS encryption, and least-privilege access. Optimize replication performance by tuning distributor settings, reducing latency, and minimizing resource overhead. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of replication processes with live applications. Develop and maintain scripts for replication topology, backup, and disaster recovery. Monitor replication health using tools like SQL Server Replication Monitor and set up alerts for proactive issue resolution. Validate data periodically to ensure accuracy and consistency across replicated databases. Qualifications: Proven experience managing SQL Server and AWS in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud). Strong understanding of replication types (transactional, merge, snapshot) and their use cases.
