We are searching for a Data Warehouse Support Engineer who will play a vital role in supporting an established Data Warehouse platform. This role involves ensuring smooth business-as-usual (BAU) operations, minimising backlog, and maintaining performance standards across a large-scale system with multiple integrated data sets. Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day support for the Data Warehouse platform, assisting the contractor to reduce backlog and maintain continuity. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune performance across the platform to ensure efficiency and stability. • Collaborate closely with existing design plans, working within the established architecture and technical framework. • Identify and diagnose performance issues, offering practical solutions and recommendations to improve resilience and prevent recurrence. • Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards across development and support activities. • Document issues, resolutions, and performance improvements to ensure ongoing knowledge sharing and best practice adoption. • Contribute to process improvements aimed at reducing system downtime and improving overall reliability.
