Role description

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Software Engineer III to join our team. This role involves designing and maintaining cutting-edge technology solutions, with a focus on API development in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

   • Design, develop, test, and maintain technology solutions, ensuring they meet non-functional requirements.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-driven technology solutions.

   • Engage proactively with product teams during sprint ceremonies and other meetings as needed.

   • Review and recommend design solutions to enhance business and operational value.

   • Partner with other engineers for code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

   • Ensure timely delivery of stories within 2-week sprint cycles, including completion of unit testing before QA.

Skills

   • Proven experience in designing and developing APIs for over 5 years.

   • Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.

   • Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and Groovy.

   • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

   • Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Preferred Skills

   • Familiarity with API management and integration frameworks like WSO2.

   • Experience in environments with regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA or PCI.

   • Background in the health care industry or PBM.
