Job Opportunity:Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer Location:100% Remote Duration:Contract Key Responsibility Azure PaaS, including: Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage Bicep scripts and infrastructure as code principles Azure DevOps, SonarCloud, Acunetix for DAST, ASV scans conservative, methodical approach to implementation, prioritizing reliability and minimizing risk Manage resources and delivery pipelines effectively using Azure DevOps (ADO). Top Skills: Azure PaaS Azure DevOps SonarCloud or SonarQube BICEP scripting · Offer strategic guidance on DevOps best practices tailored to our Azure PaaS environment, which includes App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Azure Service Bus, and monitoring tools like Azure Sentinel and Application Insights. · Provide advice on infrastructure as code, leveraging expertise with Bicep scripts to help determine best strategies. · Assist in setting up a new performance testing environment, mirroring the current QA environment. · Ensure seamless integration of tools like SonarCloud for static code analysis and Acunetix for dynamic application security testing within the build pipeline. · Collaborate with the team to transition from older pipeline practices while considering future observability solutions like Grafana. Qualifications: · Proven experience in DevOps roles with a focus on Azure PaaS, including: Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, etc. · Strong knowledge of Bicep scripts and infrastructure as code principles. · Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SonarCloud, Acunetix for DAST, ASV scans, and related tools. · Ability to clearly communicate and provide strategic insights on DevOps processes. · A conservative, methodical approach to implementation, prioritizing reliability and minimizing risk.
